Holiday Wreath Card & Tag

Hi! Pearl here to share a holiday card and matching gift tag. With the holidays right around the corner, I've been creating many cards made with this perfect Christmas collection, Chalet.

I used my die-cutting machine to create a wreath design on kraft card stock. I left some spots off so that I could accentuate the design with pearl stickers to give it some extra dimension. I used the dark wood design from Red Mahagony underneath to contrast with the kraft color. I then dressed up the card with stickers.

I did the same with the matching gift tag, but instead of stickers, I stamped to and from on vellum and adhered it to the tag. I added a ribbon to tie both tags together so that it can also fan open for an additional space to write a quick message. What designs are you cooking up for the holidays?

"Joy" Holiday Card

Hi! Pearl here to share a holiday card made with the beautiful new collection, Chalet. You know it's never too early to start thinking about the holidays because it'll be here before you know it. So get a head start now!

I created this card using beautiful papers from Chalet and my trusty die-cutting machine. There are so many great color combos from this collection. I wanted to create something soft and peaceful, so I paired a nice light grey with a peach contrast and give it just enough sparkle and brightness with red rhinestones. And the perfect way to finish off the card is with the beautiful foil stickers from the collection.

Simple Advent Calendar

Hi! Pearl here to share an advent calendar inspired frame.

I created this frame using beautiful papers from Chalet and my trusty die-cutting machine. I've always wanted to play on the advent calendar and use it as a way to display or capture everyday leading up to Christmas. I plan to slip in a small photo or message everyday. It's such a fun and interactive frame!

Simple Holiday Cards

Hi! Pearl here to share clean and simple holiday cards using stickers from the Chalet collection.

The Chalet stickers are perfect for holiday card making. Here, I used my die-cutting machine to create "windows" so that the label stickers appear as though they're floating in the speech bubble. I then applied the deer stickers to finish the card. Clean, simple, and easy to make if you're looking to mass produce cards for this upcoming holiday season. It's never too early to start working on your holiday cards.

"It''s Your Birthday" Card

Hi! Pearl here to share a birthday card using Mia Bella die cuts and the Blooms & Blossoms pinwheel wreath kit.

To create this card, I embossed the background card stock with a polka dot print. Then I added Mia Bella die cuts in varying lengths. Then I added scallop strips from the Blooms & Blossoms pinwheel wreath kit. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment on a another strip of white cardstock and that's how this simple card came together.

Here's a closer look.

"Craft Days" Scrapbook Layout

Hi! Pearl here to share a spread from my 6x8 Project Life album. I mix and mingle a lot of my supplies for this year's album because I like the eclectic look.

In this spread, I used a mix of SEI specialty paper in canvas, beautiful floral paper from Mia Bella, neutral black & white polka dot paper from Think of Me, pocket photo corners, and chalkboard tags from Blooms & Blossoms.

Here's a closer look.

Suitcase Gift Box

Hi! Pearl here to share a fun way to decorate a simple gift box. Inspired by old school suitcases with leather straps and leather-enforced corners, I made a little suitcase gift box.

To create this look, I used a lot of different collections and extra parts from kits:
• A combination of papers from the SEI Paper Pinwheels Wreath Kit and SEI Lexington as suitcase strap and corner decorations. SEI • Diane brads as hardware embellishments. • Twine from the SEI Cardboard Banner Starter Kit as the suitcase handle which was doubled up into holes punched to the top of the gift box.
• To finish the look, I added a suitcase sticker comprised of stickers from the Mia Bella collection, banners using cardstock from SEI Paper Pinwheels Wreath Kit, and topped off with a silver monogram glitter sticker.
For continuity, I also embellished the back a bit but still allowing it to sit as a gift box.

This is a really cute and neat little way of dressing up a simple gift box!

Jellybean Heart Onesie

Hi! Pearl here to share a super simple and cute onesie with the awesome iron-on sheet in pink polka dot. With so many babies on their way this year, I am in need of cute personalized gifts. SEI iron-on sheets are perfect for the job!

I used a jellybean-shaped heart dies to make 3 sizes of the jellybeans. I then decorated the front of the shirt with two of the smaller hearts.

To add some extra cuteness and continuity to the back, I added a larger heart for the tush area.

I'm completely obsessed with these iron-on sheets.

"Baby Love" Garland Project

Hi there! Pearl here to share a fun garland project that doubles as a congratulatory card for an expecting family. I've got baby on the mind with so many new babies expected this year.

To create the garland, I used letter stencils and hand cut the letters traced from the stencil. Sometimes, I like cutting the good old fashioned way. :) I ran the letters through the sewing machine to create the garland. It's an awesome interactive card that also serves as wall decor for any expecting family. All you need to do is package it in an vellum envelope or flat glassine bag so that there's a nice semi-transparent view into the pretty colors held inside. To finish off the packaging, I added a banner sticker and glitter alphabet sticker to personalize it.

Here's a closer look at the "O", made to look like a baby carriage.

To create the carriage shape, cut out an oval shape from Mia Bella pattern paper. Cut a pie shape from the oval so that it looks almost like a Pac-man silhouette. Then punch 2 circles from heart pattern paper from Think of Me. Using the same Think of Me pattern paper, cut a thin strip as the bassinet ruffle. Scallop the bottom of the strip with scallop scissors. To add a little extra texture and sparkle, add glitter to the little heart pattern.

NSA Scrapbook Layout

Hi there! Pearl here to share a layout of some of my favorite business cards collected from the National Stationery Show in New York. I wanted the layout to feel like a simple moodboard. So I used a beautiful woodgrain pattern paper from Blooms & Blossoms.

For the NSA title, I used letter stickers from Silver Valley. To create the banner background to the title, I used stickers from Field Notes. To finish off the title area, I added pennant stickers from Desert Springs.

Sometimes a simple and clean layout is the perfect way of displaying pretty paper collectables.

"NOLA" Scrapbook Layout

Hi there! Pearl here to share a layout full of trip memorabilia. I wanted the layout to feel like I ripped a page out of a journal and just threw all the elements onto the desk. The journal page uses a cool gold foiled diamond pattern from Entrada. To keep it from feeling too overwhelming, I fanned the restaurant cards collected during the trip along with the hotel key card. I cut stamps from Mia Bella to add a bit of dimension to the envelope.

To further keep the layout clean, I used a SEI craft envelope to store the air tickets. To finish the layout off, I added some ink splatters using black Tumble Die.

With summer coming up, how will you be scrapbooking your memorabilia?

"Mum": Mother's Day Card

Hi there! Pearl here to share a card for Mum to get you thinking about Mother's Day. Diane is perfect for it's vibrant regal purples but soft and feminine watercolor florals. I made a tag card by sewing a pocket with vellum so that the tag shows through.

Here's a closer look. I cut a flower from Diane, bundled it with a velvet leaf from Mirelle Sundries, tied it together with some twine and added a "Mum" tag. To add some sparkle, I added rhinestones also from Mirelle Sundries.

And lastly, here's a look at the tag pulled out.

I'm sure you're already thinking about all the moms in your life! But if you haven't, it's not too late to have a look at Diane collection.

Laughter

Hi there! Pearl here to share a glimpse of my wedding day using the beautiful Mia Bella collection. The colors are so soft and feminine, they're perfect for spring and the upcoming wedding season.

This pattern paper is so pretty and just perfectly decorated with the right amount of color pops, all I had to do was cut two strips of scallop borders, sew them to the page and slip the photo above them. Then I cut some ivory tissue paper hearts and sewed them to the page for a light, fluffy, dimensional look. For the title, I placed SEI glitter alphabet stickers on a label sticker from Field Notes. Lastly, I adhered a sprinkle of sequins on the layout to finish it off.

You. Me. Oui. Card

Hi there! Pearl here to share a quick and easy, but colorful and fun card using stickers! Think of Me foam stickers are super cute and perfect for creating scenery. When I was a little girl, I loved playing with stickers, so when I saw this sticker sheet, I was so excited.

I used a sticker label from Field Notes as the background and balanced the black and white contrast of the card to compliment the cute colorful stickers.

Our Vows

Hi there! Pearl here to share a love-inspired layout using the January Card Kit. It has such beautiful cardstocks in it, especially the light blue with gold foil hearts piece. I created this layout to store marriage vows.

I stacked gold envelopes from my wedding stationary to store his & her vows. To create the title tag, I just took the entire Field Notes sticker sheet, traced the Entrada frame, cut the oval shape, and adhered both together. To give the layout additional dimension and texture, I added hearts from the Think of Me die-cut accents set.

Vintage Valentine in an Altoids Tin

Hi there! Pearl here to share a new vintage Valentine to send to your loved one this Valentine's day.

I saw super adorable heart shaped Altoid tins the other day and I couldn't help but pick up a few for Valentine projects. I love the vintage feel of these tins. They're perfect to pair with heart-shaped Think of Me die-cut accents. I created a garland out of the die-cut accents and put messages behind them, one after the other. When my Valentine opens the tin, he'll pull each out one at a time and when he gets to the end, there's a final "Happy Valentine's Day" message. The best part is this serves as a card, garland, and keepsake.

Wine Notes Book

Hi there! Pearl here to share a notebook perfect for jotting down wine favorites, flavors, and notes.

I used velvet bradlets from the Mirelle Sundries pack to hold the swivel notebook together. The pages are 3x3 and perfect for quick notes. The cover is created by bundling a tag and some velvet leaves from the Mirelle Sundries pack. I further accented with a newspaper print from the Field Notes collection.

"Society" Layout

Hi there! Pearl here to share a simple and colorful layout. I love going to the museum during the holidays. I love being inspired by some classic pieces as I enter the new year.

I took photos of two of my favorites and continued the dimensional framed look by matting the photos and using foam squares to give that extra pop. I love combining different patterns from the different collections such as Mirelle, Lexington, Vanilla Sunshine, and Field Notes for a fun, bright, and eclectic look. Matting the photos twice with different patterns adds to the dimension nicely.
