Why hello there, allow me to show you what i’ve been working on…

This here is a little collection of my Phineas and Ferb sketches! Except it’s Doofenshmirtz and Perry!

On the right, that’s my very first sketch from this bundle, my first attempt at a full-body Doof in a long time. On the right was my final doodle, so as you can me: I made progress!

Also uh, all of the doodles were based off of Stock Photos.

And here’s my first shot at perry :’)

Okay, so this angle might not be what you normally see bUT IT WORKS-

I mean, c’mon, it’s Doof eating a salad. Healthy mans.

OKAY SO in the middle of this sketch, I not only got the hint that Perry’s eyes are ovas and not circles, but I also achieved my CHARACTER TURNAROUNDS! You wouldn’t believe how long it took me to find them.

So here’s a tip: When searching for a reference page or turnaround of a cartoon character, make sure you add MODEL SHEET! This is the biggest life-saver when you’re looking for refs and such! I always try searching with reference page or [show] [character] turnaround but more often than not, I couldn’t find what I was searching for. Not to mention I constantly forgot to use model sheet. So use this information and go! Draw! After you’re finished with this post hopefully

Around here is where I start to get into cleaner art and notice how Doof has his bottom lip hanging out, not his top. I may have also made a Step-Up-Box-Inator just for Perry.

And for those of you who want to know what the heck my reference collection looks like: Well uh..

Yeah. This isn’t entirely accurate since some pictures were overlaying others, but the entire section on the left (discluding the arms, dance doof, and turnarounds) stuck with me for every one! Gosh refs are great.
