Out of Sight, Close to the Heart

The slogan Jauh di Mata, Dekat di Hati (loosely translated as Out of Sight, Close to the Heart) was adopted by the Hai-O Foundation with deep thoughts on the feelings of family members who were unable to return to their hometowns to celebrate the blessed month of Ramadhan and the joy of Hari Raya due to the enforcement of MCO across the country. Separated by distance, not by the heart as wonderful memories together with loved ones always linger on. Speeches via video and the delivery of special gifts to loved ones as a token of affection. The 2020 CSR project delighted 98 recipients with their greeting’s videos compiled in 3 parts and can be viewed on SHOM’s YouTube.
