Arthur Penn

Arthur Hiller Penn (September 27, 1922 – September 28, 2010)[1] was an American director and producer for movies and television. He directed many movies that got high marks in the 1960s, such as The Chase and Bonnie and Clyde. He returned to stage and television producing and directing in the 1990s.

Penn was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He died in New York City at age 88 from congestive heart failure.[2]
