Gary Shaw

Gary Robert Shaw (21 January 1961 – 16 September 2024) was an English football striker. He played for Aston Villa from 1977 to 1988. He made seven appearances for the England national under-21 football team from 1981 to 1982. He also played for Kjøbenhavns Boldklub and Shrewsbury Town F.C.. Shaw was born in Solihull, England.

On 9 September 2024, Shaw was hospitalized under serious condition for a head injury after a fall at his home in Birmingham, England.[1] He died a week later on 16 September 2024, aged 63.[2][3]
