Kathryn Crosby

Olive Kathryn Crosby (née Grandstaff; November 25, 1933 – September 20, 2024) was an American actress and singer.[1] She was born in West Columbia, Texas. She was known for being married to Bing Crosby from 1957 to 1977.

Crosby had three children; Harry Crosby, Mary Crosby and Nathaniel Crosby.

Her movie career began in 1953.[2] She had roles in The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958) and in the courtroom drama Anatomy of a Murder (1959). She also played the part of Mama Bear with her husband and children in Goldilocks. Crosby also appeared in Operation Mad Ball (1957), Mister Cory (1957), and The Big Circus (1959).

In 1963, Crosby became a registered nurse after studying in Los Angeles.[3][4]

In November 2010, Crosby was seriously injured in a car accident that killed her second husband, Maurice William Sullivan, whom she had married in 2000.[5]

Crosby died on September 20, 2024 in Hillsborough, California from natural causes at the age of 90.[6]
