Morgantown, West Virginia

Morgantown is a city in and the county seat of Monongalia County, West Virginia. It is located on the banks of the Monongahela River.[1] It is known as the home of West Virginia University. It had a population of 30,347 per the 2020 U.S. Census.[2] Morgantown is the largest city in North-Central West Virginia. The Morgantown metropolitan area had a population of 140,038 in 2020.
