Steenwijkerland is a municipality in the province of Overijssel, the Netherlands. About 44,000 people were living there in 2021. It lies in the region of Kop van Overijssel.

In 2001, the municipalities of Brederwiede and IJsselham joined the municipality of Steenwijk. Last one was renamed Steenwijkerland in 2003.
