Fidel Castro is the Communist President of Cuba. He steals the trillion-dollar bill from Mr. Burns to solve his country's financial crisis, before kicking Mr. Burns, Homer and Smithers off of the island.
History[edit]
Castro informed his comrades that Cuba would have to abandon Communism because the country was completely bankrupt. He prepared to phone the Americans to tell them they had won, even though they had tried to kill him, which he believed was not so bad because they had named a street after him in San Francisco. However, he was shocked to discover that the street was homosexual-only. Homer, Mr. Burns, and Smithers arrived, and Burns attempted to buy Cuba with a trillion-dollar bill. Although it was not for sale, Burns asked to live on the island instead. Castro asked to see the trillion-dollar bill, and after persuasion from Homer, Burns let him see it, only for Castro to steal it before forcing the three to leave.[1]
Fidel Castro was on a rollercoaster with Kent Brockman in the opening of Eye on Springfield.[2]
Homer watched a talk by Castro and cheered during it.[3]
Fidel Castro's picture was on a captcha screen for 20th-century dictators on the Wayz website. It was one of the pictures that Lisa clicked.[4]
He once dated Agnes Skinner.[5] He was also one of the many people on "Ned's List of Laudable Lefties".[6]
Mr. Burns listed Castro as one of the authority figures whom he liked to portray in costume.[7]
