Rev. Jonathan Pucik

The Reverend Jonathan Pucik has served as pastor for Christ Lutheran Church since March of 2023. Originally from the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas, Jonathan is passionate about nurturing scriptural imaginations, care for creation, Christian spirituality, social justice, and reconciliation. 

Before pursuing ordained ministry, Jonathan served as a school-based mental health case manager in Northeast Arkansas for three years. During his discernment for the Episcopal priesthood, he moved to Seattle, Washington, where he served as a port chaplain for the Mission to Seafarers as a member of the Seattle Service Corps, a Christian intentional community committed to service, social justice, and deepening spiritual practices.

Jonathan earned a Master in Divinity at Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia. He is a husband and "dog dad," a garden newbie, a hiker and runner, and a (very) amateur folk musician.

Jonathan also serves as the vicar for Galloway Memorial Episcopal Church in Elkin, NC. Christ Lutheran has been blessed by opportunities for shared ministry with our brothers and sisters from Galloway.
