feeling_flow Feeling Flow Cape Town The Feeling Flow mix series asks DJs to share a recording of a mix of tunes that gives a personal insight into their go to tracks for feeling good and getting into the flow. There are no rules for feeling flow, the mix could be a selection of the music DJs may listen to at home during isolation to create a soothing and positive mood, a collection of favourite love songs, uplifting club anthems or an unexpected genre offering. It could be a recording from a previous gig, home session or live stream where all was flowing as an expression what a DJ loves the most - feeling good and being in flow! The aim of the series is to provide a platform for DJs to offer something personal and possibly different and unexpected during these strange times and also to draw attention to coming together to feel good and help others during the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond. Each mix upload will include a link to donate to the *FOOD FLOW* charity, providing food packs from local farms in the Western Cape to communities and families in need. We ask listeners to donate voluntarily to the cause. The mix series will be uploaded to the Feeling Flow SoundCloud with personalized artwork for each DJ provided by Luke Stroebel. You just need to supply an image of yourself to go into the artwork - a mandala acting as a frame giving a nod to plants and growth. You can submit a mix anytime from now going forward as we hope to continue to raise funds beyond the lockdown. Ideally it would be great to capitalize on the intense amount of time people are spending on social media and listening to music to get as much awareness and focus on the cause we are supporting. As this is a Cape Town based initiative we will be reaching out to local SA DJs primarily but the invitation is open to all internationals of course - please feel free to forward to anyone you think might be interested to donate a mix.
