About Labpano
Labpabo Technology was founded in 2012 by alumni of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and a number of PhDs, and has been funded by China Resources, ARM's early stage fund, and others. It is one of the first teams in China to develop embedded panoramic algorithms, and has the world's largest market share. Labpano Technology transitioned from an algorithm supplier to developing its own brand of AI vision hardware and industry solutions in 2017, after years of strong technical and industrial accumulation in the field of machine vision algorithms.

In a bid to establish a distinct brand image for its intelligent camera business, Labpano launches the new brand 'PanoX.' The term 'Pano' in PanoX aptly represents the panoramic nature of their products, while the letter "X" symbolizes infinity and exploration, pushing the boundaries of what is conceivable and achievable. Through this branding initiative, Labpano aspires to cultivate a clearer and more resonant presence within the market, solidifying its position as a pioneer in the realm of intelligent cameras.

December 2020 witnessed the 600th anniversary of the Forbidden City. Pilot One presented the magnificence of the Forbidden City through 360° VR live streaming.
Pilot One showed the thrilling launch of the BeiDou-3 Navigation Satellite System through VR live streaming on June 23, 2020.
Pilot Era captured the successful launch of Chang'e 5 through VR live streaming on November 24, 2020.
The 2020 Everest altitude measurement climbing team summited Everest at 11:00 a.m. on May 27, 2020. Pilot Era accompanied the Everest altitude measurement team to the summit and made a 48-minute VR panoramic live streaming from the world's highest point.
Pilot Lock followed the Fendouzhe Striver into the mysterious deep sea on November 28, 2020, to show everyone the sea that is 10,000 meters deep.
In January 2020, the epidemic outbreaks. More than 1.2 million people watched the 360° VR live streaming of the Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital building conducted by Pilot Era.
In July 2019, Labpano joined hands with several partners to provide technical support for the 2019 CCTV Football Match, presenting high-definition VR live streaming for the audience.
Pilot One recorded the launch of Tianwen-1 through VR live streaming on July 23, 2020.

In 2020, we made significant strides in the industry by launching the Pilot One (EE) 8K Panoramic Camera and the Pilot Lock IP67 8K Panoramic Camera. The innovative products and technological advancements earned them a spot among the top 10 global VR/AI/IC innovators, solidifying our position as a leader in the field.

In 2021, we introduced the Pilot Insight IP65 Automatic Panoramic Monitoring Camera, offering advanced surveillance capabilities in challenging environments. We also launched the Qianliyan Remote Surveillance System, providing efficient and effective remote monitoring solutions. These additions to our product lineup further showcased our commitment to innovation and meeting the evolving needs of our customers.
