FAQs
I've connected my accounts and I'm watching an eligible live-stream. Why am I not winning anything?
Our partners ultimately figure out which eligible viewers will win based on the rules for each stream. The rules may vary by partner.
To make sure you’re eligible, make sure you’ve linked accounts and are watching on your computer, the YouTube mobile app, or our mobile website. If you watch on embedded players, the YouTube Smart TV app, or via casting, you won’t be eligible for rewards.
To check if the video is eligible, you can look at the videos’ Player Settings, where eligible videos will include an option for you to review your linked account state.
If you’re on Android or iOS, make sure you’re using the latest version of YouTube.
How do I know if I won anything?
Rewards will be distributed to your partner account after you've won. These rewards may take up to a day to appear. Learn more directly from the partner website.
Is this feature available on mobile?
Rewards are available on a computer, the mobile app, on our mobile website m.youtube.com, and through picture-in-picture viewing. If you watch on embedded players, you will not be eligible for rewards.
First, check that you're signed in. You may need to turn on pop-ups in your browser to connect your accounts. If you can't connect on Safari, try another browser.
Note: You can only connect personal accounts, not Brand Accounts. Make sure you’re logged into a personal account when trying to connect.
If a video is set as Made for Kids, account linking won’t be available.
