The title describes the problem. This is an old problem that seems to be triggered by something embedded in the email. Other emails print to PDF or the actual printer without a problem. For security reasons, I cannot attach the email in question as it involves money and account identification.

The email is a credit card reward certificate from Costco and generated by Citibank in case someone else has reported this specific problem.

On a Windows 10 computer with TB Portable 128.6 and .7, folders can no longer be selected in the filters as ‘Run filter on’ or ‘perform these Actions’: the menu is greyed out. The phenomenon occurs with all accounts: POP and local. Various email providers, ESET virus scanner, Windows firewall, FritzBox cable router. The local account contains almost 30 GB of emails. The existing filters work as long as they do not affect the accounts or folders: for example, tagging e-mails works. Existing filters with folder-actions cannot be re-configured and no folder actions are possible when creating a new filter.

I have performed an update check and restarted Windows, changed the compression limit from 500 to 5 MB and changed a few minor settings so that the config is rewritten.

What could this be? How do I solve the problem? A workaround if necessary.

I recently got rid of my old main email account which up asks for account sign-in information when I initially boot up Thunderbird NEBULAR ver: 128.7.Oesr (64 bit). can you give me specific information to delete the old main email account and make my second email the main email account which will automaticall retreive my emails and show up first. I was wondering if it was possible to disable window decorations (close, maximise, minimise) on the GNU/Linux build of Thunderbird 128.7.0esr. I cannot seem to find this in the settings.

I don't have window decorations on my window manager (i3), so this make Thunderbird a little jarring to use and I'd like to disable them if possible. Two of the buttons (minimise and maximise) are actually non-functional due to i3's tiling nature. I think this is something that has recently been added, as I never used to have these buttons before updating recently after being away from work for a while. They've just appeared and I can't seem to get rid of them.

Am I just being daft and missing someething obvious in the settings?

Firefox had been repeatedly prompting 'Open in another APP' , but then I found there was a setting in the latest version , Sooooo I have set the 'Open links in apps' to Never , and I lasted a day before it prompted again for the to take me to the PlayStore to install the Freeview APP having left the Freeview TV guide web page.

Is there no way to stop it ?

Hello, I would like to know how the retention policy effects sub-folders. Does the Retention Policy (RP) propagate down to sub-folders?

Example: I create a folder in my EM account, call it folder1. I go into the RP tab and un-check the use global settings and choose never delete EM's. I then create folder2 as a sub-folder of folder1 and create a RP, un-check use global settings and select delete EM's older than "x" days.

Will folder1's RP take president over folder2's RP and never delete EM's or will folder2's RP override folder1's RP and delete EM's older than "x" days according to folder2's RP?

My OS is Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon, Cinnamon Ver. 6.4.6 Thunderbird-Nebula 128.7, 64Bit for Linux Mint-001 - 1.0

Bonjour, Quand on m'envoie une invitation par mail et que je l'accepte il est créé un rendez-vous dans le calendrier "Mon agenda" de thunderbird. I followed the instructions to install flatpak and then firefox (from the Mozilla pages) and got to the end, but Firefox was not not the path. There was a shell script in/home/edg/.local/share/flatpak/app/org.mozilla.firefox/x86_64/stable/869b4e0279ab4475432b2930ae5d583b7a0e00bac1078b8848d163820a152fa5/files/bin/firefox but it led to /app/lib/firefox/firefox. The /app directory doesn't exist.

Not sure what is wrong.

I'm using Firefox in a kiosk-mode application, on a Raspberry Pi based system, started from a bash script like this:

However on booting I get a banner from Mozilla along the top of the screen saying: "Firefox automatically sends some data to Mozilla so that we can improve your experience [Choose what I share]"

This is not acceptable in kiosk mode, as it would give users access to the configuration as well as being a visual annoyance. How can we disable this?

Hello, Android 14 and Firefox 135.0. I would like my default bookmarks location to be the "Bookmarks" folder so that I can access them with one tap from my phone. At the moment bookmarks go to "Other bookmark" folder and to access them on phone I need to tap Bookmarks>Desktop Bookmarks>Other Bookmarks.

I have moved a bookmark to bookmark folder hoping FF would remember the new location but it doesn't. How do I change the default location of all my bookmarks from "Other bookmarks" to "Bookmarks". Many thanks for your help.
