TAKEYA USA CORPORATION LIMITED WARRANTY
Welcome to the Takeya family! At Takeya, we take pride in our materials and workmanship in producing high quality products that provide an exceptional consumer experience. We guarantee every Takeya USA product purchased from Takeya or a Takeya authorized seller in the United States with a limited warranty against manufacturer defects.
Takeya USA Corporation (“Takeya”) warrants to the original end user purchaser in the United States that its products (“Products”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty period in the chart below, beginning on the date of purchase or date of delivery (if later than the date of purchase) when put to normal use and cared for according to the Product’s care instructions. Lifetime warranty coverage lasts for as long as the original purchaser owns the product.

What Is Not Covered?
Because Takeya cannot control the quality of Products sold by unauthorized sellers, this warranty applies only to Products that were purchased from Takeya or a Takeya authorized seller in the United States, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Takeya reserves the right to reject warranty claims for Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized Internet sites.
This warranty does not cover:
- silicone O-Rings;
- leaks not due to manufacturer defect;
- normal wear and tear (including dents, scratches, rips, tears, abrasions, paint chips, UV degradation, deterioration of color vibrancy, and the breakdown of colors or materials over extended time and use);
- damage resulting from any of the following: improper cleaning; abuse, negligent use or misuse of the Product; accident (including dropped or tipped Products); flight, transport, or by any carrier; disassembly, alteration, or modification; repair or alteration by anyone other than Takeya; and Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes, and tornadoes; or
- loss, damage, or cost resulting from use or loss of the Product.
There are no warranties which extend beyond those stated herein. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE APPLICABLE TO PRODUCTS,INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRENTY. so the above limitation may not apply to you.
What will Takeya Do?
Takeya will replace a defective part or Product that is covered by this warranty.
If the Product is no longer available (for instance, because it has been discontinued or was a limited edition or one-time seasonal color), replacement may be made with a comparable Product.
Custom Product and Personalization: If the Product has been customized by Takeya, a comparable replacement of the part or Product will be provided but will not be customized to the original Product purchased. If you have a Product with a custom logo, Takeya is unable to screen print or engrave the original artwork on the replacement part or Product provided. The replacement Product will be similar in size and color to the original Product purchased.
How to Make a Warranty Claim:

Purchasers of Products who wish to make a warranty claim based upon a Product defect should complete the Contact Us form found here (Takeya) or here (ThermoFlask). Alternatively, please write to us to request a paper copy of our warranty claim form at: Takeya USA, 270 E. Baker St., Ste. 220, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
When completing the form or upon request of Takeya, you may be required to provide proof of purchase (and proof of delivery date if different than date of purchase), a full description of the defect, and photographic proof of the defect. We may also require you to return the Product to us. Any required shipping costs will be covered by Takeya.
If you purchased your Product from a retailer outside of the United States, please contact that retailer for assistance.
Purchasers are encouraged to register their products with Takeya using the Product Registration form found here as soon as possible after purchase to facilitate a later warranty claim. For avoidance of doubt, failure to register your product does not diminish your rights under this limited warranty.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE FULL EXTENT OF TAKEYA’S RESPONSIBILITIES AND IS YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AGAINST TAKEYA WHETHER BASED UPON WARRANTY, STATUTE, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY), INDEMNITY, MISREPRESENTATION OR ANY OTHER BASIS. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE WARRANTY MADE BY TAKEYA.
YOU FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU ARE NOT RELYING ON ANY STATEMENTS, REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES MADE BY ANY INDIVIDUAL ACTING ON BEHALF OF TAKEYA, AS SUCH INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER EMPLOYEE OR AGENT, IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO MAKE STATEMENTS, REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES THAT EXCEED THOSE SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. NOTHING IN ANY PRODUCTION INFORMATION OR ADVERTISEMENT IS INTENDED TO CREATE OR BE CONSTRUED AS AN EXPRESS WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL TAKEYA BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF INFORMATION OR DATA, COMMERCIAL LOSS, LOST REVENUE OR LOST PROFITS, OR OTHER INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, based upon breach of this limited warranty, breach of contract or strict liability, EVEN IF TAKEYA HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND EVEN IF THE REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
