Best RV Parks & Resorts near Elk City, OK

We stayed at this campsite on our journey across North America it provided a perfect oasis in the middle of the Rollinghills of Oklahoma it’s about 30 minutes from elk city if you enjoy Route 66 history the campsite itself has two spots for RVs up to 35 feet no electrical hook ups there’s vault toilets that are very clean there’s an additional parking for 10 to 15 cars there’s a fishing pier there are picnic tables and campfires for everyone we came here because it was a review that also said it was good Verizon connectivity there is not we had zero far as Verizon T-Mobile had two bars using a booster we had threeAnd our movie Wi-Fi kicked butt on T-Mobile there’s food available for purchase at a few towns but they’re at least 30 minutes away so come prepared there is clean water potable water there’s a small lake and a small trail you can wipe up walk around we came here also looking for the prairie chicken a danger chicken that is native to the species the photos we saw made it look a lot more arid then it was it was a lush oasis in the middle of the rolling fields

Bobcat Creek RV Park is a peaceful, well-kept property that won’t empty your bank account if you decide to stay the night, an entire week or a full month. They even have online booking!

The RV Park is located in the small town of Sayre, Oklahoma and is not far off the interstate. With full hookups and great rates, this family owned and operated park is the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

They have a walking path, laundry room and free WiFi along with an office/convenience store that has gas, diesel and propane exchange. Even with being close to I-40, the road traffic is only a light background noise.

The city of Sayre has a grocery store, two truck stops, RV/Truck self-wash bays, propane refill and fast food options. There are two local parks to take the family to and burn off some energy. If you need more big city options like restaurants or a Walmart, Elk City is a quick 15 minute drive down the freeway.

This is a nice KOA. Right off of 40, so some highway noise as expected. Clean and nice trees to offer shade to some sights. Nice pool, clean bathrooms/showers. Laundry available. Dirt/gravel sites mostly level. Nice grass. Some are pretty close together. Full hook ups. Walmart/shopping nearby. Would absolutely stay here again as an overnight stop.

We stopped over night at this camp ground everything was very nice. Full hook ups and laundry. The owners are supper nice and very helpful. There is a nice walking path and they even deliver food from the kitchen to your campsite.

This city park has a lot of things to do! Mini golf, regular golf, playgrounds, pool (not open right now), ball fields, basketball, tennis and lots of walking trails. RV park had one other RV when we arrived a couple more later on but still pretty empty. Gravel spots are there for pull throughs,well maintained grassy area for smaller rigs.

Picnic tables and electric hook up at all sites and water available in multiple spots and for $12 (!!!!) a night a great deal! Cicadas are making their presence quite known from the trees in the campground. ADA sites, dumpsters and bathrooms available as well.

Very nice place to stay the night, close to Interstate 40. I will come here again if in the area. Great AT&T and Verizon signal.

I really like this park. There are 5 RV spots. There is electric hookups with 15, and 30amp. There are 4 water hookups, which means one of them uses a "Y" adapter. No big deal. There is also a dump station. Off to the right there is a parking lot for primitive tent camping and to the left there is a parking lot with a picnic area and a playground. There is also a shower and bathroom available. The price is $15 a night for the rv spot. Well worth the price. It is on an honor system.

Small little RV Park just a minute off of the freeway very easily accessible perfect for one night stays passing through town

There is not much about this campground online so we sort of were coming in blind. When we got there we were pleasantly surprised. The campground entry point is located in the far back of the parking lot of an indoor water park, The Water Zoo. Only one way in and one way out, which was a plus keeping crime down or keeping people from driving fast through the park. Drive down a paved road through the tree (not too worry) and wow, a little hidden gem. We stayed there two nights during the week. It was quiet, hardly anyone there. The grounds were kept clean and grass was cut short. They even came out and mowed the lawn again before departure. The bathrooms were clean and seperate from one another. Each restroom had a toilet, shower and sink. Ladies, no mirrors. There is a code to get in which I liked because it keeps riff raff out (not that there was any.) There are full hook ups, sewer included on some. We pretty much had the pickins and in our opinion lot 37 was the best pick. Not all sites had fire rings or sewer hook ups, this one did. It was also a pull through site with lots of shade. The grounds are surrounded by trees which gave it a feeling of being in the woods. It had everything we needed, nice slab, nice tables, store within walking distance and an indoor water park that is open year round. For those with horses, this campground is horse friendly. There is a place to house them overnight. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be going back.

Management was super friendly and accommodating. Office is open until 10pm which accommodated us getting in late. All the spots were very well kept. While we were there, there was no one camped on either side of us! It was awesome!

They have some animals in the property that the kids loved seeing! Small dog area but proportionate to the size of the rv park. Great overnight stop!

Camp site (Teardrop camping)

We stayed the camp site on our way back home for a night. There are only 5 RV spots, no reservation needed. $15 a night / honor system. There are also tent sites available. Electric and water hookups available but no fire rings and no table on the camp site.

Facilities/ Amenities

Bathroom was a few minutes walk from the site. Clean and well maintained and showers available also.

RV dump station is close by. Picnic area, playground + trash bins are right next to the RV sites.

Surrounding area

The site is right by the lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Yet all the sites are very open so personally it didn't feel like a campground.

The operators are so great they made every effort to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. They also make some of the best fried chicken onion rings and potato salad I have ever had. I highly recommend this place very pretty very safe very well maintained nice not so private camp sites. Some spaces around the outside are more private but we came in so late and kept the guy up I can not complain at all. But no public showers or bathrooms but its an rv park so that’s ok. They had everything else you could ask for. A beautiful Bon fire area too.

If you’re looking for a quiet spot to camp for the night, mid-week, this is it. Only 5 RV spots, first come-first serve. Only electric at tge site but there is a dump station.

This is probably one of the nicer locations we've ever stayed. Super clean and quiet. All sites were paved with full hookups!

Excellent customer service, full hookups, long pull through sites, laundry, horse shoes, dog park, easy to get to, beautiful scenery, easy to navigate and the owner Crystal takes you to your site. Would definitely stay here again!

Just Stayed one night as we were just passing through nice little spot with the lake. Only 8 rv spots so it’s a gamble just showing up as we did.

This is a huge camping park, with lots of sites for RV’s with full hookups, partial hookups, and a seperate tent area. The bathhouse was really clean, with pay showers. There is a nice swim beach, great open fields for sport games, a nice playground, frisbee golf course, and supposedly a small herd of bison behind the visitor center that you can watch come in to feed daily (I missed that somehow). I didn’t feel like the RV sites were as on top of each other as they seem in other campgrounds I’ve been to. The tent sites were ok, with some on the lake with no shade, and others tucked in among a tight bunch of trees. All had the usual picnic tables and fire pits. This park is not too far off Hwy 40/Route 66, so it is a nice place to camp if you are travelling Old 66.
