Kevin Owens Takes A Shot At Logan Paul For Working A Part Time Schedule

Kevin Owens isn’t impressed with Logan Paul.

The former WWE Universal Champion is extremely familiar with the 29-year-old as Owens feuded with Paul throughout WrestleMania season. When Evan Mack asked about the former United States Champion, Kevin Owens had some kind words to say about Paul during WrestleMania week:

"I've said this before, he's not my kind of person as a human being. He's got different views, goals in life and different ways to go about things, but he does take what we do very seriously and that's important. So it makes it a lot more tolerable for everybody in the locker room to have him there every three months for the big shows because he gives it his all, he works very hard, he wants to make good things, he takes it seriously, so that's good.”

Paul has been absent from WWE since he dropped the U.S. title to LA Knight at Summerslam. Even then, Logan made sporadic appearances and has still managed to wrestle at the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and Summerslam.

Owens isn’t a big fan of the WWE star coming in whenever he wants and taking a spot from the hardworking WWE superstars who are on the road every week. The Smackdown star vents his frustrations about Logan Paul to Alex McCarthy of the Daily Mail, who first questioned Kevin’s experience working with the former U.S. Champion:

"I don’t think this dude, he doesn’t live in reality. Like, the world is not real for him. You know what I mean. He gets to do cool stuff, like WrestleMania is a big show that we all strive to be at for our entire careers and he just shows up at WrestleMania and SummerSlams in the stadiums. If you want to impress me, come to a live event in the middle of nowhere in Alabama. I am sure that is all lost on him.”

Kevin Owens may not have to worry about Logan Pual anymore because the former U.S. Champion recently announced his retirement. Paul cited that he wanted to dedicate his time to being a father. The WWE star recently had a baby girl with his wife, Nina Agdal.

In reality, this announcement is getting the same response that Toni Storm’s did when she randomly announced her retirement. There’s no word on when Paul will make his WWE return.

As for Owens, he’s not the first wrestler to vent his frustration about part timers coming in and stealing high profile spots at WrestleMania. One of the most notable names was CM Punk, who infamously aired his grievances about losing to part-timers during Colt Cabana’s Art of Wrestling podcast. Is Owens building a rematch against Logan Paul? We’ll just have to wait and see.
