However, he forgot to mention actor Prabhu Deva's name, who played a pivotal role in the film. Netizens commented that the director did not mention Prabhu Deva's name deliberately as he was Nayanthara's ex.
Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara were in a relationship a couple of years back, and it was rumored that Prabhu Deva was still with his wife Latha when he dated Nayanthara. The two were supposed to get married in 2009; however, Prabhu Deva only got a divorce in 2010, and by that time the couple had broken up. Reportedly, Nayanthara, addressing her separation with Prabhu Deva back then, stated that they were not sure and it was just fate that simply meant for them to not be together.
On the work front, Nayanthara is now awaiting the release of her films 'Test', 'and Manangatti Since 1960'. She is also shooting for her movies 'Good Student' in Malayalam and a yet-to-be titled Tamil alongside Kavin, which is helmed by Vishnu Edavan.
On the other hand, Vijay's action flick 'GOAT', even though after receiving mediocre reviews, is minting good numbers at the box office. The movie which was directed by Venkat Prabhu also featured the actors Jayaram, Prashanth, Sneha, Mohan and many others in pivotal roles.
