Get stuck in with one of our projects

Tree planting season runs from October to March because the cooler, wetter months help young trees establish strong roots before summer. This early growth is crucial for their survival and future development.

We also run tree maintenance events throughout the summer, which are a great opportunity to learn how to care for new trees and woodlands.

Trees for Cities is extremely grateful for the high level of volunteer enquiries we receive for our planting days! This does however mean that we can't always guarantee a space for everyone who applies to volunteer with us. We will always seek to recruit locally and depending on your location and our planting programme for the season, we will be in touch with any opportunities in your area.
