Please note that this site may features content that could trigger you. Unfortunately, it is nearly impossible to label all triggered content with accuracy. Due to human nature, it is also possible that some tags can sometimes be forgotten.
With that said, most ‘offensive’ tags are either topic-related tagged or will even contain the NSFW tag (used for simspice/wohoo stuff, you know). Please check the NSFW category on the masterlist for that.
However, the nature of Tumblr’s tag system is that posts can have other harmless tags as well. Therefore, it will be impossible that such content will be invisible. But there is a way, you can hide such content if you use Tumblr’s own Tag Filter and the recommended Add-on. Continue to read on how you can do that. Do note that Tumblr (since Summer 2020) also limited the total number of tags that can be used.
What does NSFW mean?
NSFW is an acronym that stands for ‘Not Safe For Work’. When used correctly, NSFW is a warning that indicates a link to a webpage, photo, video, or audio clip with inappropriate content. Although the word is usually associated with pornography. However, in most cases, it is used as a warning for violent, foul, offensive content, and such.
Tumblr’s own Tag Filter (Blocker)
You can filter tags within your account. Tumblr's Tag filtering prevents posts with certain #tags from showing up on your dashboard and in search. Whatever you don’t wanna see, this is a way to not see it. Check out how this works here.
Tag Blocker ‘Tumblr Savior’
There is another way if you use the Chrome Browser. TS4-Poses strongly recommends using the following ADD-ON for your browser.Tumblr Savior can block not only tags but also matching words within a post. As mentioned before a human can forget.
18+ Audience
NSFW content suits the audience 18+. In case you are under 18 please, please stay away from such content. Please block this content. You are too young to deal and understand such topics. There are so many other cool topics for you out here. Check those instead, pretty please.
International Helplines
If a topic is triggering you or you need help, please know that there people all over the world who can help you. In case you need help please seek help. Here is a link to a global page called checkpoint.org where you can and will find help in your country. Go and contact them! Your life and mental health matters. Stay safe and sound!
Tags with a little skull
Be aware that even harmless tags can potentially contain NSFW content. Considering the fact that a word can have multiple meanings. In such cases you need to decide if you want to block those words too. (Updated: 26th April 2021)
Tumblr’s Community Guidline
TS4-Poses only reblogs content that is in compliance with Tumblr’s Community Guideline.
