I recently ordered an oreo cake for a birthday, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail of my order was just right. The cake was not only visually stunning but also absolutely delicious. I highly recommend cake and bakes Ruislip for any special occasion.

Cakes & Bakes has been our go-to spot for years, and the cakes are consistently fresh and tasty. The staff, like Samreen, are polite and provide good service. However, their pricing, especially for egg sponge, feels a bit steep. Overall, decent cakes and convenient service, but room for improvement.

I went to buy a cake and was shown different options. The young man wearing glasses was extremely helpful and enthusiastic, going out of his way to make sure I got exactly what I needed. He really deserves to be recognized for his exceptional customer service. I was at the Luton branch on 30th January between 6-7. The cake was amazing too! He deserves a pat on the back for his hard work.

I went there to the Ruislip Manor Cakes & bakes and had a great experience. The customer service was fantastic and they clearly communicated all the procedures necessary for the cake making. They understood exactly the look I was going for and the cake did not disappoint. 10/10

I ordered a cake online, I was not updated on delivery times. I was promised an invoice but never received one, when the cake finally arrived (late) it was damaged and melted. You can’t get through to anyone and if you do they say they will contact you the day after, which of course, they never do. Really disappointing, awaiting a refund.

looked on website on 2.2.2025. placed order delivery quick, got delivered cake was broken. I wasnt sure whether the driver ate from it or what. 11 year old was disappointed with it it was her actual birthday. Ordered once and never again

Extremely disappointed in the service here! They have lost a potentially loyal customer in me - I would have made this my go-to cake shop!
Be careful about buying from their online store, if you insist on using their services, it is better to go in person, otherwise you could run the risk of overpaying and not granted a refund. My last visit was very distasteful and I have not heard back from disputing this issue with customer services online! I never write bad reviews for any business, but my situation was handled very poorly - deeply regret buying from here.

i ordered the cake and cancelled the cake within 2 hours. the terms and conditions on their website say you can only cancel if you give not less than 6 days notice...I gave them a full 6 days notice. The email response for cancellation was generic and tried to tell me that they have already booked the baker and bought all the ingredients and that I could not cancel. Legally I could...I was entitled to cancel as I had followed their own website policy. I have not had a refund and they have since delivered the cake. The decorations (candles) were broken, the cake itself looked very nice and was a very light sponge and chocolate cream. However I would not order from a company that ignores its own policy.

I ordered very last minute, and they still delivered an awesome and delicious cake. The staff were very nice, and the chef went out of his way to complete the order, even coming in from his day off to acomodate me. I have nothing but praises not just for the cake -which was delicious- but the dedication of the team and their professionalism.

We ordered our 1st Gluten Free cake. I ordered it online, made a few changes using whatsapp, collected on time. It was good looking and tasty cake. I'd certainly do it again.

Every time I ordered cake there for family spacial occasions we really enjoyed it. Cakes are tasty and are presented well. In Sutton branch staff is always polite and helpful. I add that I do my orders online and well in advance.

Ordered a Bischoff cake for a birthday and it didn’t disappoint. It was fresh with a light sponge and delicious cream filling. A birthday message was piped nicely on top. The cake was waiting for me at the requested time. I will definitely use Cakes and Bakes again.

The cake looked different from what was promised when ordered however the lady at the shop was very apologetic and made the changes. The cake looked amazing & was delicious and I will certainly buy from them again!
