Sales service from both Abbey and Tim…

Sales service from both Abbey and Tim based in the London branch, of Back In Action, for two different orders, excellant. Their assistance in finalising the last details and choices were very helpful. Having now received both the stressless dining chairs and sofa, I am a very satisfied customer. A great product sold, great service received including the delivery service.

Professional service

Purchased a Stressless chair from Back In Action last year. It developed a squeak in mechanism and despite many visits issue wasn’t resolved.

Without my even knowing it had been ordered Dan arranged for brand new replacement which so far is fine.

Bad experience turned around by good service.

Excellent Customer Service

We ordered a Stressless Urban table online which we are really pleased with. We had a minor issue with delivery but thanks to great customer service, especially from David, it didn't turn into a drama.

This is the second time I have used this business, last time I bought a Stressless chair and foot stool, and they really are a very efficient outfit, with friendly and helpful staff.I can thoroughly recommend ordering, either on line or over the phone, from this company. I shall enjoy this kneeling chair at my kitchen table!

A well made product which suits me very well

A well made product which suits me very well as I use both iPad and MacBook whilst sitting in a comfortable Stressless chair. The angle is perfect. The only adjustment I haven’t been able to work out is the folding at the side of the chair to keep the table out of the way!
Delivery was incredibly fast and communication was excellent.

Highly recommend Back in Action

Although we have decided not to place an order at this time we would like to say how much we appreciated the insightful advice that Cameron gave us. It was especially helpful to be able to directly experience the difference between the Classic and Signature bases in the Stressless range. Cameron was very professional, well informed and patient. How to Keep a Customer Coming Back

I rarely go back to a review that I have already provided. But with BIA I will make the exception.
My original purchase of a Stressless Chair was marred by faulty delivery which I gave them a 3 star rating.
However, BIA showed their true customer service credentials and came back to put right their failings. They gave me exactly what I wanted and not only did their actions restore my faith in this company, but will be seriously considered for any future purchases big or small.

Excellent service

Excellent service. I bought a Stressless computer table, and the price was the best I could find online. The purchase went extremely smoothly, communication was excellent, and the table was delivered promptly by courier the next day. So overall extremely happy with the purchase, and I would definitely recommend the supplier.

I am hugely impressed by Back in…

I am hugely impressed by Back in Action.

I received excellent personal attention when spending a long time looking at both office chairs and recliners at their George Street branch. In the event, as a short term measure, I bought a table for my old stressless recliner. I had to return the table as it did not fit my old recliner (which was not their fault), and Back in Action could not have been nicer or more efficient in the way they dealt with the return. I am really impressed with them and fully intend to get my next recliner there.

Speedy, efficient and personable

Overall and excellent experience. The item was identified on the website as available [when the maker had a six week waiting time] and was dispatched in a speedy and efficient manner. The item [a small table for a 'Stressless' chair] arrived with an exceptionally courteous and informative slip inside, which explained a number of things in a very personable way. Having fitted the item, I decided on a second one to balance the chair and ordered this with confidence - it arrived in a few days and, as with the first, was well wrapped and protected.

User friendly

Back in Action went the extra mile to deliver me an elevator ring for my Stressless chair. after the wrong size was delivered they reordered and sent me the correct size without delay. No fuss and very user friendly.

Need to look at their suppliers

Be warned about using this company. The staff are lovely (a special mention to Dave who has been really helpful) but their suppliers and delivery company (Speedy?) completely let them down. I bought and paid for an IN STOCK Stressless chair on 12 July and was advised it was coming from Manchester. I had to do all the chasing as the lady at Manchester couldn't be bothered to call me to arrange a delivery date. Long story short - today was delivery day (between 8am and 12 noon) - arranged by Dave at B in A not Manchester who were still conspicuous by their silence. I sat in all morning and heard nothing - no call or text to tell me what the situation was and when they would get to me. I give up and have cancelled the order. It is too much like hard work and I shall go elsewhere. If the B in A management are reading this review - you seriously need to look at your suppliers because they are losing you business.

Update: There was a clear error in marking the delivery for p.m when a.m was communicated. As well as an apology via Dave we have offered £200 reduction for taking the chair this pm as it is clearly an error you should not have experienced.

Original reply: Dear Geraldine, BIA Management monitor all reviews each day, and by taking action we have been able to keep BIA as the best reviewed furniture supplier on Trustpilot. We review our delivery companies constantly, and Speedy are actually the same delivery company chosen by Stressless themselves. Nevertheless mistakes do happen and sadly, during this pandemic, and especially recently the number of sudden isolations has presented problems for all our chosen delivery companies... both for bookings and arrivals for appointments. As you will recall we offered you a substantial reduction when the booking did not occur the way you would have liked. And I'm really sad to hear that the delivery has not occurred. I will investigate now.

You will be refunded in full of course and we will be applying an extra credit to your account to apologise for the inconvenience.

I bought an office chair and a…

I bought an office chair and a electrically adjustable desk from Back in Action. I work from home and spend an average of 10 hours a day at my desk in quite a stressful job and was getting significant back problems as a result.

I tried two chairs from Amazon in the £200 price range, both of which got good reviews, but both were really disappointing and just not good enough to sit in all day. So I realised I had to spend bit more to get a seriously good product. I decided to buy a new desk at the time, as I wanted to two computer monitors and to be able to work standing up at times.

I'm not rich and it was quite a lot of money to spend for me, so I took my time choosing. Back in Action were great, being incredibly patient, put no pressure on me and just worked with me to find the right products. I'm really happy with both the desk and the office chair. The chair is the biggest revelation and completely changed how I felt after a long day.

A couple of months later, I bought a Stressless chair, which is superb. Again, Back in Action were happy to spend a lot of time with me to get choose the right model and spec.

This is how service should be. The team at Back in Action know their products inside out and spend as much time as you need to make the right decision.

Being sat in the correct position whilst working sat down most of the day is so important, and even better that you can stand up and change it up... movement is needed throughout the day.
