Bagalbandi
Bagalbandi yoki Barabandhi yoki Daura deb nomlanuvchi - erkaklarning yuqori kiyimi; bu yon tomondan bog'langanadigan odatiy ko'ylak. U uslubda jiletka o'xshaydi. Uning old tomoniga kiyimni mahkamlash uchun iplar bog'langan ikki ko'krakli ko'ylakkao'xshab, boshqa tomonida bir-biriga yopishgan keng qism mavjud. Bagalbandi - Hindiston yarimorolining etnik libosi; kiyim boshqa hududlar bilan birga hind belbog'i, Gujarat, Maharastra, Nepal bilan ko'proq bog'liq[1][2][3].
Etimologiya
[tahrir | manbasini tahrirlash]Bagalbandi ( hindcha : बगलबंदी, Bagalbandi) qo'shma soʻz boʻlib, Bagal so'i "tananing bir tomoni" degan ma'noni anglatadi, "bandhi" yoki "bandi" esa tasmalar yoki "bog'lash" degan ma'noni anglatadi[4].
Mintaqaviy uslublar
[tahrir | manbasini tahrirlash]Hind kamarida, Rajastan va Gujaratda u dhoti, salla bilan kiyiladi va mintaqadagi an'anaviy erkak kostyumining bir qismini tashkil qiladi[5][6]Hind kamarida dhotidan tashqari, u churidar yoki salvar deb ataladigan qattiq shimlar bilan ham kiyiladi[7].Eng keng tarqalgan an'anaviy liboslar singari, u ham bugungi kunda ayollar orasida mashhur uslubga aylandi[4][8].
U Maxarashtra va uning atrofidagi hududlarda "Barabandhi " nomi bilan keng yoyilgan kiyim turidir. "Bara" so'zi marathi tilidan olingan bo'lib "12" va "Bandi" "bog'lash" degan ma'noni anglatadi, uning 12 ta boshi bor, 6 ta ichki tomoni va 6 ta tashqi tomoni mavjud. Karnataka, Andxra-Pradesh va Telanganada bu kiyim uchun 4 dan 12 gacha o'zgarib turuvchi eski "Angi" atamasi ham ishlatiladi [9].
Nepal, Sikkim va Darjeeling viloyatlarida u " Daura " nomi bilan tanilgan [10] Suruval bilan kiyiladigan kiyim turi hisoblanadi bu atama Gujaratda tor shimlar uchun ham ishlatiladi[11].
Bagalbandi shuningdek, Sharqiy va Shimoli-sharqiy mintaqalarda, xususan, Bengal, Odisha, Assam va Manipurda [12][13] keng tarqalgan va o'ziga hos xarakterga ega kiyim uslubidir.
