1. Pilates On Robertson opened in April 2016. Originally, I taught Pilates and GYROTONIC® in a small one room studio in Culver City. Now we are a fully equipped studio with two reformer combination machines, a Cadillac, Wunda chair, 2 GYROTONIC® towers and three specialized GYROTONIC® equipment pieces. We are a concierge boutique studio offering privates and semi-privates. Our mission is providing high quality specialized movement training for all types of clients. Currently, we have experience working with osteoporosis, scoliosis, rheumatoid arthritis, pre/post natal care, hip-knee-ankle injuries, frozen shoulder syndrome and more. Black Beauty Near You, LLC started in 2019 from a lack of beauty supply products that the founder, Jaida Day, experienced on the campus of UC San Diego; an experience that many Black girls at predominantly White Institutions (PWIs) unfortunately know all too well. As a result, over the years, Day has created an online beauty supply store, a braider directory, and an online university for students to find a sense of community and get the resources they need as a student to prepare them for their day-to-day during and post-college.
