A treasured 18,011 ha reserve on the doorstep of nipaluna, lutruwita / Hobart, Tasmania, and the traditional lands of the Muwinina. The Park stretches westward from the 1271m summit of kunanyi / Mount Wellington. Spectacular lookouts, dramatic cliff faces, boulder fields, waterfalls, fern glades and amazing dolerite rock formations await.

The Trust is pleased to advise that the East West Trail is now open to recreational 4WD permit-holders. Permits are available online and gate keys can be collected from Glenorchy City Council on presentation of your permit.
Annual growth in traffic volume on Pinnacle Rd has returned to pre-COVID levels, with vehicle numbers growing by 2% in 2024 compared to 2023.
