Babel

[edit]

Babel lets you view and edit more than one language on Wikidata. Just add e.g. {{#babel:de-N|en-3|es-1|fr-2|nl-3|it-4|da-0}} to your user page. With the same language codes you can add links to your userpage on Wikipedia e.g. de:User:User123. --Tobias1984 (talk) 11:50, 24 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bibliothèque municipale de Saint-Malachie

[edit]

Constrain

[edit]

Hello. Why I still get allowed qualifiers constraint (Q21510851) when I am using together with (P1706) as a qualifier for qualifies for event (P3085)? [2] Xaris333 (talk) 17:55, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@xaris333: I do not know how the constraint checking system functions, so I really wouldn't be able to tell you. maybe Wikidata:WikiProject property constraints can, but I have no idea if there's any activity over there at all. Circeus (talk) 20:08, 20 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

VIAF deprecated rank

[edit]

The problem with deprecating a VIAF value is that VIAF periodically merges duplicates. When this happens, we have bots that update the links, and we could end up with the only remaining value being the deprecated one. We cannot predict which VIAF value will become the primary one, and sometimes VIAF will merge two items and create an entirely new value instead of using either of the previous ones. --EncycloPetey (talk) 14:57, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@EncycloPetey: Maybe, but right now, that particular value is clearly not the main one. Circeus (talk) 18:24, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
