Polish Award "Polonia Restituta" - this ist 4th grade of the Order : "Officer of the Order of Polonia Restituta" 95.112.135.253 10:09, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That is indeed possible, but here is what made me hesitate. The source I used shows the miniature with a rosette, which would indeed imply the 4th (or "Officer") class. But the other image shows the full cross and either the rosette is obscured or missing, which would indicate the 5th (or "Knight") class. I also found at least one photo of him wearing this se of full medals and could not see a ribbon there. A documentary source would of course be the best; my search of Monitor Polski did not yield any results. Finnusertop (talk) 19:22, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
See please here [1] "Order Odrodzenia Polski Oficerski / Officer of the Order of Polonia Restituta". You won't find it in "Monitor Polski". He received the award from the Polish Government in Exile in London for cooperation with Polish Intelligence in Exile. The original documents of the Polish government in exile are still in the Polish Museum in London (the former Sikorski Institute) and were not handed over to the communists in Poland even after 1989 (when the real end of the Soviet occupation period took place) 77.0.11.206 21:35, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
