Motivation

[edit]

Microsoft maintains its own entity API. We already have imported basically all of the data from Google's API it would be useful to import Microsoft's also. It would also potentially unlock more value as we could import data from the microsoft API. I would probably write a bot to import the ones that can be done automatically e.g. via wikipedia URL.

Discussion

[edit]
@Hannes Röst: you would think there would be a mapping but I haven't found any such thing. they must be related though as one is the precursor for the other. BrokenSegue (talk) 02:48, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I, too, would like to find a better way to extract the entity IDs. Has anyone found a way?--Bricks&Wood (talk) 20:14, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Bricks&Wood: i believe you used to be able get them from scraping bing.com but I haven't looked in a while. Paying to get this data just turned out to be way too expensive so this property is dormant. BrokenSegue (talk) 20:30, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
