Rename idea
[edit]I think this cat would be better served if it is renamed to something Category:Wine of the Ancient World, that way it would be more appropriate to have historically overview articles in the cat like Ancient Rome and wine, etc. AgneCheese/Wine 05:11, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, the usual set-up would be Category:Wine of the Ancient World, a topic category, with a list subcat Category:Wines of the Ancient World to include actual drinks, such as Retsina and any others described as 'X is a wine'. The second would be a subcat of Category:Beverages, the first would not (as a historical overview is manifestly not a beverage). This would be a routine matter anywhere else in Wikipedia. (There is Category:History of wine.) Occuli (talk) 14:42, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
