16 June 2023: handed over to the Ukrainian Navy
[edit]The ship has been renamed Cherkasy and handed over to Ukraine. She sailed on 16 June 2023 out of UK waters under control of a Ukrainian Navy crew. Ukrainian Naval Ships Chernihiv (ex-HMS Grimsby) and Cherkasy (ex-HMS Shoreham) sail from Rosyth this morning. N2e (talk) 15:40, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
- A better source, but still vague on the handover.
