[edit]Can someone (Kahlid?) help me identify what aspects of this page need fixing to meet the 'Wikification' style guidelines? Thanks -- d
Photo trumps drawing/painting
[edit]I've changed the "Holy picture" image of Jules Chevalier to a photo. Popular images of both holy people and revolutionaries are tinkered with to convey their propaganda. A photo never lies. The image being shown showed wavy brown, brown hair and not a wrinkle or crease anywhere. We editors should be very careful of using such images, especially when photographic images are available. A photograph is a primary source of information, whereas a drawing, painting or manipulated photograph, can - at best - be only a secondary source ... perhaps it's been changed several times ... perhaps the head doesn't belong to the body, etc etc. Francis Hannaway (talk) 22:16, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
