This phase should probably be adjusted: "His mother Eleanor of Aquitaine, who had been feuding with her husband, joined the cause as did many others upset by Henry's murder of Archbishop Thomas Becket in 1170, ".

It is indicated elsewhere that Henry II did not order the murder of Becket, but rather it was a decision taken by the knights themselves. It would probably be more correct to re-phase as: "His mother Eleanor of Aquitaine, who had been feuding with her husband, joined the cause as did many others upset by the murder of Archbishop Thomas Becket in 1170, ".
