Editing

[edit]

When you try to edit this via the template it takes you to {{The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen}} from where you can't actually edit this. I can't quite work out why this is happening and can only assume it is because the other template transcludes this one.

There might be a clever fix but the obvious one would be to remove the transclusion and then update the template links.

Anyone got any better ideas? (Emperor (talk) 18:09, 22 March 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Seems to be the other way round, now. Should the comment regarding Professor Challenger be taken on board and he be moved..? (Indeed, should the template be revised to have "THE" League and then 'Other' Leagues, or something like that...? ntnon (talk) 15:24, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and did it, because as I was looking at it, it bemused me considerably that, for example, the Blakeney's weren't mentioned at all. So hopefully what it is now is acceptable. ntnon (talk) 15:52, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
N.B. Is there a guideline that stipulates things should be alphabetised, because I feel the "Associates" really ought to be Campion, Moriarty, M, Mycroft, Manchu.... other (+ Mrs Peel and Bulldog Drummond). ntnon (talk) 15:55, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps we should make character pages...

[edit]

At least for Mina and Allan. I know they are based on their literary counterparts, but League of Extraordinary Gentlemen has had enough issues now that they've developed their own "comic" history. It would be useful for new readers and could highlight major differences between their literary counterpart (which shouldn't be on the counterparts actual page), major events (such as how they became immortal in the pool), etc. As for notability, well almost every comic character in existence has a page on wiki, so...24.190.34.219 (talk) 00:13, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Character separation

[edit]

I am not sure it makes sense any more to split the characters between the first Murray/Quatermain group and the subsequent incarnations given that the story now focuses on those. Any objections to merging those classes? Mezigue (talk) 20:23, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
