[edit]Hello. You don't seem to be a random IP based on your editing style and familiarity with the Wikipedia community guidelines and policies. Do you have another username or ID? Normchou 💬 04:56, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
- Some people opt to edit anonymously not because they lack experience but to avoid becoming overly involved and addicted to Wikipedia editing. I assure you that I have only edited the Doping in China article via anonymous IP editing. If you have real issues with my edits, please report them to the appropriate noticeboard instead of trying to arouse suspicion around me. I am not MingScribe1368 or GaussianTW, if that's what you are subtly implying. If there are specific issues with my edits, I am more than willing to discuss them. However, if this inquiry is based solely on my interactions with other users and giving them constructive advice, I do not wish to engage in any irrelevant inquiries. Also, please note that my IP address has auto changed due to traveling, but I wanted to respond here to maintain the discussion's continuity. 49.181.140.183 (talk) 05:53, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
- I was not implying anything. I was asking a valid question because it is highly suspicious that you are a first time IP editing a controversial topic with a solid understanding of the community guidelines and policies, which is highly unlikely. I am not sure you really answered my question, but from what I have seen, I am sure you are aware of other policies such as WP:SOCK and WP:INDEF bans. Good luck with your traveling. [edit]There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Normchou 💬 02:09, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
