Feel free to weigh in here as to whether the Scholasticism template should have a search box or not: User_talk:Epiphyllumlover#Search_boxes_on_templates.--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 23:47, 24 July 2019 (UTC)

Sorry, I'm generally sceptical of that search box over the board. PPEMES (talk) 00:06, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
Thank you for your thoughts.--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 03:04, 4 August 2019 (UTC)

Apostolic See

Are you sure the Apostolic See of St. Thomas is Goa? It is widely thought that Chritianity came to Goa from the Portuguese. There are mostly Latin Catholics presently in Goa. Thoughts?Manabimasu (talk) 04:37, 5 August 2019 (UTC)

I could have misunderstood. Please feel free to correct. PPEMES (talk) 09:26, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
I am not sure what the Apostolic See of both Syro-Malankar and Syro-Malabar is as well. Maybe the state of Kerala. Babylon. Also, India as a whole. I am going to change to India. Came to present-day Kerala died in present-day Tamil Nadu. Goa is seperated by Karnataka so unlikely he came there.Manabimasu (talk) 12:01, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
OK. PPEMES (talk) 12:24, 5 August 2019 (UTC)

PLEASE stop WP:SPAMming this everywhere. It should only be added to major articles that are a) about history and b) about the Catholic church. Very, very few biographies should have it. Johnbod (talk) 17:07, 7 August 2019 (UTC)

Spam? I saw some leap of cross-linking missing. How is this not per policies? Perhaps a few biographies - added by others - could be dropped. However, why don't you address that Template:History of the Catholic Church? PPEMES (talk) 17:16, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
Greetings, Articles that are actual wikilinks within the template are allowed to include that template. There should be very few exceptions (if any at all) to this rule. Regards, JoeHebda (talk) 21:26, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
@JoeHebda: So who's right and wrong of you two commentators? PPEMES (talk) 21:28, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
It is NOT a question of right & wrong; rather following the guidance set here. If an article does not have a wikilink within that template, then the template should not appear at that article. I don't know how to explain it any other way. Specifically, template History of the Catholic Church is already very large, so I would think no more articles need to be added at this time. Discussion on the talk page is the best way to reach consensus about changes for that template. JoeHebda (talk) 23:09, 7 August 2019 (UTC)

When you want to change a template into an article, fine, have your go. But at least solve the link to a disambiguation page so that it does not pop up on maintenance pages. The Banner talk 14:51, 13 August 2019 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of patriarchs, archbishops and bishops of Carthage, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a foreign language article that has essentially the same content as an article on another Wikimedia Foundation project. Please see Wikipedia:Translation to learn about requests for, and coordination of, translations from foreign-language Wikipedias into English.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hey PPEMES,

There's a new sandbox for the Germanic peoples template if you want to make any test edits to it before you make your final edits in the official template, just in case something goes wrong. -- PK2 (talk) 23:54, 24 August 2019 (UTC)

Actually I was trying to put the three sections under the history section. Tried to surf the code to find out where they'd go and misplaced them. Will get back to it later, thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 17:34, 31 August 2019 (UTC)

I understand. Hope you liked the new version. PPEMES (talk) 17:36, 31 August 2019 (UTC)
