This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of List of The Claidi Journals characters, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: The Claidi Journals. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. AfD nomination of Art Blastside

[edit]

I have nominated Art Blastside, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Art Blastside. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Hello again! I just thought I'd suggest something; if the Art Blastside article is deleted, please feel free to include pertinent information in the main article, as long as it follows guidelines. Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! 00:29, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Amelia Peabody's Egypt. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Stub sorting

[edit]

Hi, I've noticed that you've created a number of stubs recently, and tagged them with the uncategorised {{stub}} tag. It would be very helpful if, where possible, you could use a specific stub tag, such as {{sf-novel-stub}} or {{fantasy-novel-stub}} - a full list can be found here. Also, please note that articles that do not provide at least a claim of notability are more likely to be deleted. Thanks, Jeodesic (talk) 22:28, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Boy Princess, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. En-mass tagging *****-ai as a minor theme

[edit]

Excuse me, but what exactly do you think you're doing, tagging a few dozen anime/manga series at the same time with these categories? Granted I have only read perhaps 1/5 of the series, but the vast majority of them do not fit at all. Please provide evidence, or undo the taggings. Zyrxil (talk) 23:39, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The series that were tagged in this category were previously listed on the page "Shonen ai". Many people have expressed upset at losing the links. I was putting the links in the category of "Shonen ai as a minor theme" because that's how they were previously listed at that page. TigressofIndia (talk) 01:12, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's great from a functional point of view, but again I have to point out that the vast majority of the series tagged absolutely do not have Shounen/Shoujo Ai as a minor theme. I'm not familiar with the discussion regarding the Shonen Ai article, but there needs to be a criteria for tagging, more selective than the series simply having main characters that are the same gender. Zyrxil (talk) 01:21, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Art Blastside‎

[edit]

An editor has nominated Art Blastside‎, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Art Blastside‎ and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 14:14, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Drinking Sapphire Wine, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hi, TigressofIndia, welcome to WikiProject LGBT Studies!

We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying, categorizing, and improving articles of interest to the LGBT community. Some points that may be helpful:

  • Our main aim is to help improve LGBT-related articles, so if someone asks for help with an article, please try your hardest to help them if you are able.
  • Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
  • The project has several ongoing and developing activities, such as article quality assessment, peer review and a project-wide article collaboration, all of which you are welcome to take part in. We also have a unique program to improve our lower quality articles, Jumpaclass, so please consider signing up there.
  • If you have another language besides English, please consider adding yourself to our translation section, to help us improve our foreign LGBT topics.
  • If you're planning to stay, have a square in our quilt! You can put anything you want in it.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again - Welcome!

Hello, TigressofIndia. The reason that I changed Ashley's sexual orientation listing on the List of LGBT characters in film, radio, and TV fiction from bisexual to lesbian-identified (twice now) is explained in the edit history of that article, as well as showcased by simply looking at Ashley's article, which I recently fixed up. On her talk page, after I fixed up that article, I also explained more about categorizing her sexuality.

If you still feel that we shouldn't list her as lesbian-identified on the list mentioned above, then what do you suggest, besides listing her as bisexual? I really don't feel that she should be listed as bisexual, at least not until we see her really fall in love with or sexually attracted to a guy that is not in direct response to her romantic feelings for Spencer Carlin. Even then, I'm not sure we should classify her as such, since she identifies more so as a lesbian...but rejects labels at the same time. On the above mentioned list...we could list her as "Gay, possible bisexual", like what is done in concerns to Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist. I'll probably tweak some more with how to list her there, since some people may want to list her as a lesbian...while others may want to list her as bisexual. Flyer22 (talk) 04:50, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

For now...I'll list her as "Lesbian, possible bisexual" on that list. Or maybe "Lesbian-identified, possible bisexual" would be better for her. That seems a better fit. Flyer22 (talk) 05:03, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

List of LGBT characters in modern written fiction

[edit]

Hi TigressofIndia, thanks for your recent edits to List of LGBT characters in modern written fiction. The way you referenced your additions didn't work, so I fixed them. Wikipedia:Citing sources is a page I've found helpful in the past. I also reverted 2 of your edits, the characters of Amber and Tony, since the link you provided didn't mention Amber, and it mentioned Tony but didn't say that he was gay. I've had a quick look for a better reference but couldn't find one. If you find one, feel free to add them back. All the best, --BelovedFreak 14:43, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Bella at Midnight

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Bella at Midnight, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

A7: article does not indicate notability of this book

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Crusio (talk) 12:23, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Bella at Midnight

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Bella at Midnight, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Proposed deletion of Darkness, I

[edit]

The article Darkness, I has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No references for book or trilogy either separately or as group - no content except title, sequence and author.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. LessHeard vanU (talk) 22:36, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dean Shostak requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 07:12, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Dean Shostak has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet notability requirements for musicians.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 05:27, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Dean Shostak for deletion

A discussion has begun about whether the article Dean Shostak, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 07:38, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Addition of category

[edit]

To add the category "Abortifacient" to an article is to add a medical claim. Wikipedia is rightly wary of making such claims without very good evidence. There must be a source in the article that says exactly this and that meets the standards of WP:MEDRS, e.g. a review article, not a single study. Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:23, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
