Fails WP:GNG and WP:NGRIDIRON, having never played professionally. This article was PROD'd in 2012, but that was contested with the edit summary "a news search shows that the subject meets the GNG which is sufficient for notability even w/o meeting WP:ATH". I found some coverage in the Reno Gazette-Journal, but only passing mentions elsewhere. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:23, 12 April 2020 (UTC)

- Comment. As Eagles247 notes, we need to see significant coverage in other outlets to support a keep decision, but there is extraordinarily extensive coverage in the Reno Gazette-Journal, e.g., (1) "Decision pays off for Milan", 9/7/01; (2) "Pack's oft-injured Milan suffers another setback", 4/1/06; (3) "Nevada shaking things up on defense; The File on J.J. Milan", 3/4/05; (4) "Milan a force on the line", 8/19/03; (5) "Wooster coach: Milan chooses Nevada", 12/7/01; and (6) "A long, grueling road back", 8/10/06. 01:20, 14 April 2020 (UTC)
- Keep. I am finding some significant coverage in outlets beyond Reno. Putting it all together, I conclude that WP:GNG is satisfied. Further examples of coverage include: (7) "Nevada end happy and healthy, for once", Chillicothe (OH) Gazette (non-Nevada), 8/24/06; (8) "Former Wooster Colt figures prominently in Pack’s defensive plans", Tahoe Daily Tribune, 8/16/05; (9) "Milan glad to be back for Wolf Pack", Nevada Appeal, 12/28/06; and to a lesser extent, (10) Milan is out for the season", Nevada Appeal, 8/30/05.
