I've found two editors, one of them a SPA, who have made similar copyright violations as Rconner by copying information paragraphs into Wikipedia from thomaswhite.com articles, Heinrich Amsel (talk · contribs) and Karimobo (talk · contribs). Opinions on coi spamming of today.yougov.co.uk?

I'm guessing InnovationsInterns has a coi, but definitely the ip. I've removed all InnovationsInterns's edits, which were to add information from their current surveys.
The ip's edits are mixed. Some, like [8] are undeniably linkspam. Others, like [9], aren't so clear.
I'm guessing that the 298 links may indicate there are other such accounts and ips. Thoughts? --Ronz (talk) 16:25, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
YouGov are a fairly well-respected UK opinion poll company, and are a reasonable source to use in a lot of contexts, particularly British election coverage. But a lot of these users' edits are trivial ("79% of UK Adults who watched [Sex and the City (film)] claimed to like it") and some inappropriate to source to a recent opinion poll without context ("[Reagan and Thatcher were] the American President and British Prime Minister with the perhaps closest relationship over time"). The articles they've chosen to edit have a strong overlap with the most recent entries on the YouGov blog, which is a bad sign, and from a Linkedin search, YouGov do appear to have a job title of "Innovations Intern". --McGeddon (talk) 09:17, 27 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
