סוֹכֵן (sokhénm (plural indefinite סוֹכְנִים, singular construct סוֹכֵן־, plural construct סוֹכְנֵי־, feminine counterpart סוֹכֶנֶת)

  1. (Modern Israeli Hebrew) An agent: one who acts on behalf of an organization.

  2. (Biblical Hebrew) An official serving in a house or palace.
