Etymology
[edit]From ἀνατέλλω (anatéllō, “rise, grow up”) + -η (-ē, verbal noun suffix), from ἀνά (aná, “up”) + τέλλω (téllō, “I perform, accomplish, rise”), related either to τέλος (télos, “accomplishment, fulfillment”) or to ἔτλην (étlēn, “endure”).
