Translations

Should 禾 be added as a Mandarin translation?

Here's my understanding of Wiktionary guidelines with respect to the translation section. For it to be included in the translation section, you should be able to walk out onto any street corner in Beijing, say the word (or write it down) and be understood unambiguously. By that measure, 禾 does not qualify as a usable translation. An example from English would be "sci" (as in science or conscientious), which means "to know." Even though "sci" is a part of English, I would never say "I don't sci where I left my car keys." -- A-cai 13:03, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

I did not see it in the complete list because it appears to be hidden in a gray bar. I thought it would be in the complete list. 24.93.170.200 23:36, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

As you mention above, the complete list is not grouped according to meaning. I have tagged the entry with the {{ttbc}} template.
