[edit]From German Magazin, from Italian magazzino, ultimately from Arabic مَخَازِن (maḵāzin, “storerooms, storehouses”), plural of مَخْزَن (maḵzan, “storeroom, storehouse”), noun of place from خَزَنَ (ḵazana, “to store, to stock, to lay up”).[1]
