Auburn offensive lineman Wilson Bell headed to Tropical Bowl

Former Auburn offensive lineman Wilson Bell will take part in a second college all-star event.

Bell, a native of Mobile, is among 144 players headed to the SPIRAL Tropical Bowl on Jan. 14 in Daytona Beach, Fla. He is on the National team for the all-star event, which will be his second of the week after taking part in the College Gridiron Showcase along with Auburn's Darius James from Saturday through Wednesday in Addison, Texas.

The Tropical Bowl will hold practices Friday and Saturday with the game starting at 8 a.m. Sunday at Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium streamed online via FloFootball.

A graduate transfer from Florida State, Bell started 18 games at guard for the Seminoles but was primarily a backup for Auburn this season.
