Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Starkville and Mississippi State; Will Impact Pickens County

A severe thunderstorm west northwest of Starkville shows strong indications of large hail, perhaps as large as 2 inches.

Lots of lightning and heavy rains also. Doppler radar indicates winds over 60 mph not far off the surface.

This storm is turning right and moving east southeast at 35 mph. It will pass near or Columbus MS and will impact Pickens County Alabama around 8:30 p.m.
