After leaking a month early on Instagram, Anastasia Beverly Hills officially announced its newest eye shadow palette on Monday night. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette will be launching in March. "We are a bit heartbroken as we planned videos to tease the launch, along with our reveal video and subsequent campaign photography ☹️," the cosmetics company wrote on Instagram. "You will still see it all, but the element of surprise is gone, however before more of you see leaked photos of SOFT GLAM, we want a chance to show those of you that haven’t yet seen the leaked photos."

The Soft Glam moniker is fitting as it looks like a, well, softer version of the popular Modern Renaissance Palette. Instead of raspberry reds and terra-cottas, Soft Glam is all about pastel pinks, warm browns, and peaches. Claudia Soare, Anastasia Beverly Hills' president, shared on her personal Instagram that she wants the new eye-makeup set to be a neutral palette that is "a go-to for anyone, transitions beautifully from day to night, and is a dream for MUA’s with a bridal clientele." She added that her mom, the Anastasia Soare, actually inspired her to put together the palette, too, calling her a "neutrals queen."

Of Soft Glam's 14 shadows, seven of them are brand-new, including Rose Pink (a shimmery petal pink) and Glistening (a glittery champagne). Tempera (a matte beige), Burnt Orange (a matte deep orange), and Cyprus Umber (a matte espresso) will look familiar because they originally appeared in the Modern Renaissance palette. The others are Anastasia Soare's favorite Eyeshadow Singles like Sienna (a matte orange-toned brown) and Orange Soda (a matte warm peach). Soare also included Noir "because some of my favorite bridal makeup is a cat eye using mostly shadow that some of my favorite MUA’s create," she explained on Instagram.

Aware that people may complain that she used existing shades in the new palette, Soare wrote, "If I can create a brand-new shadow that isn’t in the line, wonderful. However, if some of the shades that work within the configuration are close enough to be an existing shadow, I’m not naming the new one something else and making you purchase a shadow that you can’t find as a single should you hit pan."

Soare also showed off swatches of the shadows on Instagram and Snapchat. I need those shimmery shades on my lids, like, yesterday.

An exact launch date and price haven't been announced yet, but they will be very soon. I'll be sure to keep you updated.
