    For people with Ninja V or similar camera recorders, this lets you move an SSD back and forth to your work computer with little to no hassle and operate right off the drive. Modern laptops often have fast enough bus speeds that you don't need to copy the files onto your computer's internal drive to operate on them. Other methods, docs and so on, don't seem to have the speed this cable does.

    Its also far easier to use than a dock. In essence, you can add 4 TB of SSD storage to a laptop with one of these cables, and swap it out easily with others.

    I wish I could give negative stars. The cable was faulty and broke two sata ssd’s I had. Due to a power issue with this cable the ssd’s keep disconnecting and connecting ( more than 2900 times in one operation - confirmed from a monitoring software) without the issue being readily noticed at first. After a few data transfers, it severely affected the performance of my ssd’s where the read and write dropped to less than 500KB/s. I confirmed the issue was from the faulty cable by purchasing another cable from a different brand. I donot recommend this cable at all, and would like the company to refund me or send a replacement cable.

    This is very convent for connecting drives from an Atomos video recorder and much cheaper than the official dock.
