I have bought 6 Kindles over many years, upgrading to newer models when new features were added (or needing to replace two unfortunately left on public transport). I have had to travel a lot with work, thus lots of time to read whilst stuck in planes. The Kindle Oasis was perfect, great size, battery life and easy to hold.
Life changed with Covid, so my travel has ceased and I now work from home. As such, upgrading to the Scribe has been a great experience. I read every day, consuming around 50 books a year (an hour in bed each night). I enjoy having a full page of text and it's easy to hold in one hand. The battery life is extraordinary and it charges fast. The light is evenly distributed across the screen. I do use the notebook function, but my handwriting isn't that great, so it's an underused feature. I held off buying the Scribe due to the price, but when Amazon dropped the price on it during one of the sales, it was an easy purchase.
