  This item is perfect for mud and dirt. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't dry the disc when it wet very well. A towel works better for water but the disc raptor trumps the towel, in my opinion, because of how easily and quickly it can clean dirt and mud off discs while playing a muddy course! Definitely worth the money!
