John Henry Hart
I have an old studio photograph identified as John Henry HART which was taken on his 1st birthday, 19 Apr 1922. There is no studio or location identified, however based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding John and his family:
John Henry HART was b. 19 Apr 1921 in Ithaca, NY to Marion Leland HART (1899-1973) and Margaret Rhonda TERRY (1901-1994). John was one of 7 children born to this couple including John Henry; Donald Leland; Kenneth Robert; Paul Dale; James Thomas HART and two others, all born between 1921 and 1941.
John was married twice, first to Iona Hilda POOLE (1917-1975) on 11 Jul 1943 in Aberdeen, MD and they had four children including Paula; Terry J.; Jean M. and one other, all born between 1944 and 1953. His second marriage was to Hazel Mae SHERMAN INMAN (1922-2021) on 15 May 1976 in Watkins Glen, NY.
John died 12 Jul 2014 in Ithaca, NY and is buried in the South Hill Cemetery in that city. His obituary lists his surviving family members including children Paula NELSON; Terry HART; Jean SWEET; and Virginia FREEDMAN; and brothers Kenneth “Bob” HART and David HART; and sister Marian SOLON OGDEN.

San Jose man dies in car crash
The following appeared in The Press Democrat on Wednesday July 3rd 1996 on page 5:
A San Jose man was killed Tuesday morning after the 1988 Porsche convertible he was driving went out of control on North Drive at Clearlake Oaks and rolled 60 feet down an embankment, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Donovan Hart, 37, was pronounced dead on arrival at Redbud Hospital, officers said. Two passengers were treated for moderate injuries at Redbud. They were Jay Thomas, 32, and Eric Weller, 28, both of Santa Clara.
CHP Officer Mark Loveless said Tuesday that Hart lost control of the Porsche while it was traveling east bound.

Donovan was a kind, not so quiet, dreamer, business concept guy, but his true purpose for life was music. He could bend a note on a harmonica like any of the greats, Phil Wiggins, John Mayall, John Popper, it did not matter, he was a natural. Funny he was somewhat tone deaf but could hear it in his head.
I met him back in the early 80's sometime and we hit it off immediately. We would just hang out, self administer scotch intravenously, play music and talk. I remember he at one time had aspirations to be President of the US and actually had some good ideas.
He and his wife had a house in downtown San Jose off of Market St. and a second home in Clear Lake.
An artist at heart, he is truly missed.

many years ago my aunt eveyln started looking for our roots, she has passed on and her daughter gave me her material. i am looking for more information about my grandpa's family and where they went from Red Wing, Minnisota, USA. William Arthur Hart, my grandpa, married Carrie A. Cain and moved north to Pine River, Manitoba,Canada. His dad was Andrew Jackson Hart, Mother was Minerva Jane Cody. he had brothers, Charles who lived in North Dakota, George who moved to British Columbia, remarried and raised a family there. A sister Flora (Hart) Lyons who livid in North Dakota, may have remarried and moved somewhere else. i would like to know more about these families and any other siblings. i have a large extended family here in Canada and am in the process of contacting them to get all the updated family info. am willing to share with other members of our family tree! My great-uncle charles had a son Leonard married to Betty with sons- Dennis, Leslie, Kieth & Todd. Todd is a border guard in North Dakota. we used to visit at my parents farm in the summer when they would come north to fish in northern manitoba.

Our family has old notes of ancestor named Constant Hart who fought in the Revolution with his son in law Nathaniel Powers who had married Constant's daughter Jerusha( born around 1756) in 1776 in Madrid NY. Constant may have been of the Ipswich or Rhode Island Harts and his birth date is not known to us but he died in 1792 in Windham County Vt from which some Powers had come-
It may be that his line back is Nathaniel to George to Thomas to Thomas (1615 in England-1673 in Ipswich Mass) to Stephen in England-
he may have been married twice to Sarah Russell about 1747 and to hannah Holland aft 1753
