I only can recommend to NOT watch the 2nd season!
Spoiler: First the MC got pushed away from the "bullshit heroin" and is forced to run behind her like a dog and then he got betrayed by the two other female characters brutally. The MC has absolutely no sense of self-esteem and I can't stand such stories at all.
Just think about it the MC inspired the one girl to draw (and got betrayed first time), the second one was a writer who was about to fail at her first book and he moastly solo saved it and the third girl was so invisible that no one recognized her. And all of these throw him away like an old rag without hesitation and he acts like thats normal? WTF!

A shockingly good second season. It improves on everything, particularly the visuals and the direction are really strong. But where it shines most is in how deep it goes down the rabbit hole of the complexities of being an artist. Got a little too real even at various points, but that's just a testament to how well done it is.
The ending was a bit disappointing, in that it wasn't really an ending and very predictable, but with a movie on the horizon it is more than excusable. Looking forward to more.
PS: extremely down-to-earth and blunt Katou is just such a gift to the world <3

Ok, I rewatched S1 and I have read tons of positive recommendations about S2, and this is much better in HUGE character development, also it got really serious story in comparison to easy going S1, that is why I'm disappointed, but don't get me wrong, it's good in other way than previous season, but also not something we would expect. Looks like I have some strange taste, but I bet you will enjoy it. Imo: from nice, easy anime to nice, sad drama and 10/10 for Katou! and btw Worst harem EVER! :P

The character development was probably the MOST enjoyable aspect of this sequel. There was a more SERIOUS note to this season compared to the last season. The characters change considerably and grow for the better. The male lead, well.. is still the male lead. The story gets really good and the moments that capture your attention and adoration for the characters are plentiful. Besides the fact that it ends with hints at third season and there still isn't a final girl pick, I have almost no complaints with this sequel. Not a single drop in quality, nothing but praise for this season.

A little bit heavier than the first season but overall a lot more enjoyable. The issues the cast have to overcome seem real with some interesting (and very mature) choices being made. Overall, a very worthwhile second season

Very good Anime for Harem fans. Especially for those who got a little bored of archtypes being allways the same with different hairstyle. Characters are still a bit archtypish, but the approach of how they express themself is totally different. Animation is top notch and the story setup is somewhat realistic and works just fine. The idolization of the otaku lifestyle is probably the strongest weakpoint. Still 8 out of 10 for me.
P.S.: Don't watch it all at once. It's charme fades with overdozing.
